Welcome to the UK and Ireland Trichotillomania Support Group

I'm Lois Pallister, a Driving Instructor in SE London and have pulled out my eyelashes and eyebrows since I was 13. Discovering that Trich was a recognised condition in March 2001 (when I was 38!) had such an amazing positive effect on me that I immediately wanted to reach all those sufferers that I knew were still out there believing they were alone with this. As a result, this web site went live on June 22 (International Trichotillomania Day) 2001.

I'd love to thank all the users who made this web site into more than I could have imagined back then and apologise for the loss of the old message board due to spamming attacks. Now that I have overcome the spamming problem by purchasing the software upgrade I hope that we may, together, continue to work to help raise awareness of Trich in the UK and provide the much needed support for one another. Please take the time to register on the new improved board right away so that you remain on the mailing list and thank you once again for making my efforts so worthwhile.
